Meizu unveils hole-less phone called Zero, It uses all latest technology to achieve these goals. Lets go step by step about technology used in Zero.
1. No Speaker grill: Uses Piezoelectric transducer under display (it uses display vibrations to generate sound).
2. No Charging/ Data transfer port: Uses Wireless Charging and Data transfer technique, They are using worlds first 18 Watt wireless charger similar to Quick charge 3.
3. No Power & Volume Key: Using Linear motor buttons with haptic feedback, Need to scroll side bars to function these keys.
4. No SIM Slot: Using eSIM(it is embedded sim inside phone, Need carrier permission. In India only Jio and Airtel support eSIM) as you seen in latest iphone. *phone is not launched in India.
This Leads to achieve IP68 Water and Dust proof Rating.
Although a Microphone hole can be seen on the top and bottom of the phone. as there is no alternative is present.
